Bio
. I seem to remember that I always have had either a book or a pencil in my hand. Books and words have always been my friends. As I have gotten older I now have a book or a pen and paper nearby and having a computer helps. Having these items close by are comforting to me.I have never met a used bookstore I haven't liked. I attempt to listen for the Lord's direction and write from my heart. I have finally come to realize my purpose i life is to write what is on God's heart and encourage people with it. I am attempting to share my peace and the path I continually walk with the Lord and even thought life is not easy it can be done. I wish to show others the beauty of Christ and to show them that we are to be living expressions of His life.I live in the beautiful state of Alaska with my family. I have been married for 25 years. We have three children.
I tend to be annoyingly optimistic. I enjoy reading, writing, blogging and photography.
I write inspirational poetry which I write with the help of the Holy Spirit for the lost and broken souls of humanity. I try to be transparent, uplifting and encouraging with my words. I write about the beauty and simplicity of life. I want through the written word to reveal the beauty of Christ to these broken souls

This book is for those who have been to those dark places, and need to come through to the light. It is not possible to write in this way unless you have been there. I feel as tho her book can help those who are in that place (darkness, sadness, lonley, unsure) and give them a hope that they have longed for. God sent His Son to be the light of this world, and He can and will help those who come to that light. Lisa's book shows her path and how she was able to overcome life's roadblocks.

This book is amazing, filled with emotions and deeply insightful! Anyone reading this book will find something to relate to and develop an emotional attachment too as well. You will feel like the poems were written for you and your circumstances. I definitely recommend this book to all my friends and family.

I will be holding a book signing event at Barnes and Noble in Fairbanks on June 22, 2013. The hours are 1 to 3 pm. All my friends are encouraged to attend this event.
